Well this news comes for the Launcher freaks out there, who always look forward to increase the user experience with their Smartphones by customizing the looks and options on your Phone. SO the most delightful launcher in the business gets an update. Yes we are talking about the Apex Launcher which has been updated to Version 2.0.
However the success of the Apex Launcher is not as huge as Holo and Nova , but also may be this update could change the game.In this update really some very cool and mind blowing features have been added. One of them is the integration with the Apex Notifier , but unfortunately this is only for the Pro Users , but hey Quality never comes for free. The Notifier is is an extension that can be used to work along the Launcher and the DashClock Widget.
Once all the setup is active it would add a label to some of the Android Apps , and indicate the Notifications you have in a Particular App. Like it does for the Missed Calls , SMS, GTalk Messages, Play Store Notifications etc. Also have a look at some of the New Features that were added in the Update.
Features:
- Improved Settings Menu
- Better activity Picker and Extended Vibration duration options
- Multiple Fixes in the previous version
- Supports DashClock for Android 4.2 along the Apex Notifier.
Some Pro Features:
- External Notifiers on by Default.
- Integration with Apex Notifier.
- Notification Label type options.
- Folders available in the app drawer.
So these were some of the new features that were added into the new version of the launcher. However the there are two version one is the basic with not many options, and is free. But the Pro version would cost you around $3.99 which is not that expensive if we look at the options it offers.
