In order to fix loopholes and strengthen Android security, Google has disallowed outside Play Store app Updates. Google has tightened the screws for developers, now they will have to issue updates to apps Via Google Play Store only. Step is taken in the wake of Facebook sending updates to its Facebook Home application directly to users who have the “Unknown Sources” box checked on their devices.
Google also prohibits this type of activity in their terms and conditions that “applications that cause users to unknowingly download or install applications from sources outside of Google Play.” Now Google has updated Play Store terms, which now states that “An app downloaded from Google Play may not modify, replace or update its own APK binary code using any method other than Google Play’s update mechanism.”
Talking again about Facebook, from past some days company was issuing updates outlawly. Facebook is not the one, there are many other apps about which is talking about.
So now Facebook will change its update procedure? Share your views.
