NVIDIA Tegra 4 details are leaked by a user on a Chinese site chiphell. According to slide posted by user Tegra 4 codenamed wayne will be a 28 nanometer ARM Cortex-A15 quad-core system on chip. There’s also significant increase in graphics cores, USB 3.0 support and much more. Tegra 4 promises six times the power of Tegra 3. It appears to be, according to a leaked slide, a 4+1 quad-core design similar to that of the current Tegra 3.
Detailing GPU, it consist a whopping 72 core GeForce unit, bringing six times the graphical performance of the Tegra 3. It also supports full 2560×1440 24 bit color display and native hardware decoding for video.
With CES 2013 kicking off in mere weeks, we should have significantly more details coming in the not-too-distant future.
