According to a study by App Annie Intelligence Google play Store Revenue has increased by 311% in this year. Its growing rate is much higher than Apple App Store. Despite 311% increase in revenue Play Store is still behind Apple Store whose revenue is 4x higher than Google’s one.
App Annie Intelligence tracks over 150,000 apps across iOS and Android to give some analytics on the ecosystems. 
Bertrand Schmitt, CEO, App Annie Said,“The gap between global revenues on iOS and Google Play is still there, But the gap is shrinking every month, creating more opportunities for publishers to generate significant revenue growth in several countries on Google Play.”
Coming onto Download in which Android OS served 48% more Android App Downloads in the year-to-date, greater than iOS at 3.3% growth.
