GoPro for Android is now available for download via Google Play Store. Go Pro shared this information via their official Twitter Account. The GoPro app for Android offers “full control of camera settings and remote viewfinder/ preview.” So guys get ready to framing when you’re about to leap out of an airplane, wing suit to the slopes, land on a snowboard, pop a back flip off the first jump, and chug a Mountain Dew mid-air.
The app isn’t compatible with the Original HD Hero camera, and compatibility with the Hero3 editions won’t be available until later this month and into December, which means that the company’s Hero2 camera is the only camera that’s compatible with the app.
To experience the full benefits of the GoPro app, devices running 4.0 and above are highly recommended. You can get the app here.
