The Korean giant is already working on the next year’s flagship i.e. the Galaxy S24 Series. Following the past trend, this time also Samsung appears to launch three different variants including the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Some information about these devices is already doing rounds via some leaks and benchmark listings. Following the trend, the batteries of these smartphones have made it to Korean Safety certification ( 1, 2, and 3).

The listing confirms details about the batteries of all three smartphones. Three batteries bearing model numbers EB-BS922ABY, EB-BS926ABY, and EB-BS928ABY have appeared. Among these batteries, the EB-BS926ABY appears to be for Galaxy S24+ which carrier model SM-S926 and EB-BS928ABY for Galaxy S24 Ultra which bundles model SM-S928. So, the remaining EB-BS922ABY appears to be for the Galaxy S24 base variant which will bear model number SM-S922.
However, Korean Safety reveals images of these batteries and even confirms the presence of some other certifications such as BIS India. However, the text is not clear on images but, the capacity of the EB-BS926ABY, and EB-BS928ABY is already confirmed via DEKRA certification a week ago. The batteries are manufactured by Amperex.
We expect details about the EB-BS922ABY battery to surface in the coming few weeks.
