Motorola introduced a new smartphone in North America featuring the two-way satellite testing feature. It is built by Motorola and Bullitt and is set to unveil in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with a different name i.e CAT S75. In order to enjoy the satellite services, there’s a two-way satellite message called Bullitt Satellite Messenger. It follows all the protocols defined by 3rd Gen Partnership Project standards organizations.

Motorola Defy 2 or CAT S75 offers satellite connectivity via the already present geostationary satellites. The phone will search for WiFi or Carrier Network before establishing a Satellite Link. Moreover, the sky should be clear in order to make the satellite connectivity work. There are different plans that you can opt for to access satellite connectivity. There’s an Essential pack for $4.99/€4.99 that offers up to 30 two-way Satellite messages per month and SOS assistance for a year. There are other plans for extensive usage that have a hefty price tag of $59.99 per month.
Motorola Defy 2 and CAT 75 come with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display protected with Gorilla Glass Victus. Further, it features MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset along with military-grade protection along with dust and waterproof certification (IP68 and IP69K). The smartphone bundles a 5000 mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. There’s a triple rear camera module featuring a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. There’s an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling.
it runs on Android 12 out of the box and will get up to Android 14 software update. Surprisingly, it ships with 5 years of security updates.

Motorola Defy 2 costs $599 across North America, Latin America, and Canada. The price includes a 12-month Essential Plan subscription. Further, the smartphone will start shipping in Q2 2023. In Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, the smartphone is available for pre-orders via carriers, for £549 or €599.
