Xiaomi has introduced a new budget smartphone under the Redmi sub-branding: Redmi 10A Sport. The phone sits over the Redmi 9A Sport that was launched last year in September. Here is a closer look at the specifications, features, price, and other details of the latest Redmi handset.

The Redmi 10A Sport is built around a 6.53-inch IPS LCD screen with a dewdrop notch at the top. The panel offers an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a peak brightness of 400 nits, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. In addition, it packs a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
Under the hood, the smartphone draws power from a MediaTek Helio G25 SoC. Also, the chipset is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software front, it will boost Android 11 out of the box along with MIUI 12.5 on top.
On the back, the Redmi 10A Sport has a polycarbonate back panel. The device carries a square-shaped module for the camera and fingerprint scanner. It consists of a single 13MP main camera alongside an LED flash. The other two cutouts are just dummies! Moreover, there is a 5MP unit for selfies and video chats.

Redmi 10A Sport costs ₹10,999 for its single 6GB/ 128GB storage option. The phone is available in Charcoal Black, Sea Blue, and Slate Grey color variants. It is up for purchase in India via Mi.com, Mi Home Stores, etc.
