For starters, the Phone Hub users will be able to access their most recent photos, even if they are offline. With this, the company intends to provide a distraction-free experience. The pictures will automatically appear on the Phone Hub under the Recent Photos section. This adds to the ability to reply to text messages, check their phone’s battery, and perform other functions that are already available.
In addition, the update will enable the Nearby Share users to safely share Wi-Fi credentials from their Android smartphone to a Chromebook. For sharing, just head to Settings > Wi-Fi network > Share. Thereafter, you will see “Nearby” and send it off to a nearby Chromebook. After this, the Chromebook will permanently save your password. Also, it will get online without typing any Wi-Fi passwords and connect seamlessly.
Furthermore, Chromebook users will soon get the Fast Pair feature this summer to connect any Bluetooth accessories. Turning on the Chromebook Bluetooth, it will seek the compatible devices that are in pairing mode. After the successful connection, the link will be saved to your Google account, allowing you to connect the accessory with any other product.
