Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G was announced earlier this year with the model number SM-G990B. In the latest development, the Korean tech giant is preparing a new variant of the smartphone. The new variant of the device bears the SM-G990B2 model number which recently went live on Samsung’s Netherlands support page. The listing reveals some key specs of the Galaxy S21 FE and indicates an imminent launch. Let’s take a look at the known facts about the handset.
The Galaxy S21 FE will sit over the Galaxy S20 FE 4G which was launched back in October 2020. According to the website, the upcoming phone will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Also, t is IP68 rated, making it splash-resistant
Underneath, the Galaxy S21 FE 4G will draw power from an octa-core processor based on Snapdragon 888 SoC. Depending upon the region, the phone can also equip Exynos 2100 SoC. Further, it will arrive in up to 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. On the software front, the device will come pre-installed with the latest Android 12 OS.
For optics, the Galaxy S21 FE 4G may carry a triple rear camera unit. The capacity of the module could be 12MP + 12MP + 8MP. On the other side, the phone is likely to house a single 32MP sensor for selfies and video chats.
