Samsung is expected to hold a launch event sometime in August to announce its next generation of wearables and smartphones. The event will mark the launch of the 4th gen Galaxy foldable alongside the Galaxy Watch 5 series- Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro. While any official statement from the company is still awaited, three different variants of the Galaxy Watch 5 have made an appearance on the FCC certification website. [Update: 12 July 2022]: The upcoming Galaxy Watch 5 series has been spotted on Samsung’s official website in the Netherlands, Denmark, and Norway. It lists Galaxy Watch 5 (40 mm), Galaxy Watch 5 (44 mm), and the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, with model numbers SM-R905F, SM-R925F, and SM-R915F. However, the page did not reveal any specifications apart from the model numbers. Although it does hint at an imminent launch.

As mentioned, the Galaxy Watch 5 series will include three different variants. According to the FCC listing, the respective models will bear the model numbers SM-R900, SM-R910, and SM-R920. Going with the rumours, these could be the 40mm, 44mm, and 46mm variants that were leaked recently. The portal reveals some of the key details, including connectivity and charging capabilities.
Talking about the model SM-R900, the website suggests that it will support Wifi, Bluetooth, and NFC. While the SM-R910 and SM-R920 models will also sport the same connectivity options of WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity onboard.

Galaxy Watch 5 Wireless Charger
In addition to this, a wireless charger has been spotted on the FCC database with model number EP-OR900. This charger will have a 10W wireless charging support. Besides, the top-end model is likely to carry a 397 mAh battery, while the other two variants might be backed up by a 276 mAh unit. Unfortunately, the listing does not reveal any further details about the wearables.
Coming back to the leaks, they tipped three models of the Galaxy Watch 5 series- 40mm, 44mm, and 46mm. The former model of the Galaxy Watch 5 may be available in Phantom Black, Silver, and Pink Gold colours. While the median 44mm model might come in Black, Silver, and Sapphire variations. Furthermore, the 46mm Watch 5 Pro is tipped to come in Phantom Black and Silver colours.
