OnePus has started pushing a new update for the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. The update comes with the firmware version number CPH2381_11.A.08. It is rolling out via Over the Air (OTA) and is live for Indian users. OnePlus announced the details of the update through its community app. It is rolling out in batches and will take some time to reach your unit. The broader rollout of the update is expected to begin in the following days. Apart from other changes, the update bundles the May 2022 Security patch. OnePlus has optimized a couple of things relating to the system, camera and Bluetooth. The update doesn’t bring any new features.
The optimization of the system consists of optimizing power consumption and user interface. Another area where the improvement lies is in communication network stability. OnePlus also improves the stability of the camera with the update. It also gets better Bluetooth connectivity now. Here is a detailed changelog of the May 2022 update;

Head to Settings, find Software Updates and tap on Check for updates. It will fetch the update only if it is available on your smartphone. If you don’t wish to wait for the update, you can download it from here. The users can install the update using the manual update option. To install, tap on the Upgrade from Files option after opening the Software Updates menu. Although, we won’t recommend updating manually because it isn’t worth the effort.
