It seems the Lenovo-owned company is more into the budget segment of smartphones. Last week, a handful of entry-level devices were announced by Motorola, including the Moto E40. The handset has finally made its way to Inidan users, and here is what it offers.

On the display part, the Moto E40 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a punch-hole display. The panel offers a 90Hz refresh rate, 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Further, the body is made of plastic which is splash resistance with IP52 certification.
Motorola Moto E40 draws power from UNISOC T700 SoC. The device comes in a single storage option of 64GB and 4GB RAM which is expandable via a MicroSD card slot. It boosts Android 11 out of the box tossed with Motorola’s My UX UI on top.
In the optics department, Moto E40 carries a triple rear camera lead by a 48MP primary snapper. The other lenses include a couple of 2MP macro sensors to measure macro and depth aspects. While an 8MP front-facing shooter serves video calls and selfies.
The Moto E40 packs a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 10W charging over a USB Type-C port. On the connectivity front, it offers all that we expect from an entry-level device. This includes dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GNSS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Also, there’s a dedicated Google Assistant key, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purposes.
