The FCC listing discloses the model number SM-F926U for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. As we reported earlier, the device comprises the S Pen capabilities. Furthermore, the arrival divulges that the digitizer required for the S Pen to operate is in-built in the device. Alongside the new functionality, the smartphone will arrive with 5G connectivity, NFC, wireless charging, and Wi-Fi 6e.
The other official specifications of the Galaxy Fold 3 are a 6.2-inch outer display and a 7.55-inch foldable inner display. The smartphone will run the latest stable channel, Android 11 out of the box with One UI 3.1 on top. A dual power cell of 2155 mAh and 2345 mAh will back up the device making it a total of 4500 mAh battery.
Under the hood, Snapdragon 888 SoC is likely to power the device paired with up to 512GB of memory configuration. Also, Fold 3 may equip a 12MP rear triple camera setup and a 16MP UDC for selfies. If this stands true, the device will be the first foldable with an under-display camera. The devices will replace the Galaxy Note’s spot and are expected to launch at the Unpacked 2021 event in August.
