Clubhouse arrives on Android for the US, followed by UK, Canada, and Australia

After its success in the iOS community, Clubhouse today announced that it would be making its debut on the Android platform. This was expected, as recently they teased a private beta. Clubhouse made a huge success in IOS, but now after a sudden dip in the number of downloads, it needs to get a revival.

Many tech giants have started unavailing their social audio products, which creates competition for Clubhouse. An Android launch was the only option for the brand to survive and bounce back. We have already seen many apps getting a revival after launching it for Android.

The App has launched in the US now and will be available for other English-speaking countries after it. The clubhouse team said on a blog:

“Our plan over the next few weeks is to collect feedback from the community, fix any issues we see, and work to add a few final features like payments and club creation before rolling it out more broadly. If you are an Android user, you can download Clubhouse for Android and sign up now to be alerted once it’s available in your area”

“As a part of the effort to keep the growth measured, we will be continuing the waitlist and invite system, ensuring that each new community member can bring along a few close friends.”

If you want to try the Clubhouse App, you can download it from Playstore only if you are in the US. You will still need invites to use the App. Other countries can pre-register for it now.
