Samsung Galaxy A70 is receiving the Android 11 based One UI 3.1 update. After the first major update that Samsung rolled out in February 2020, this is the second major update that Galaxy A70 is receiving. The first major update was Android 10 based One UI 2.5.

The One UI 3.1 (based on Android 11) update is rolling out much before its schedule which was supposed to roll out in May 2021. Now the galaxy A70 has joined the league of smartphones that run on the latest version of Android. The One UI 3.1 update for Samsung Galaxy A70 is now rolling out in India and Ukraine with build numbers A707FDDU3CUC6Â and A705FNXXU5DUC6Â respectively.
The update brings the March 2021 security patch along with itself. Its download size is around 1.9GB. It is recommended that the users should have a strong internet connection and sufficient battery when downloading the update. The new update brings performance improvements and system stability.
Update Features
The Android 11 update brings chat bubbles, auto-permissions, various new widgets, easier smart home device controls, et cetera. Other than that, it brings an all-new UI design, new customization options for Dynamic lock screen and AoD (Always on Display).
The call screen can now have a video background, the ability to remove GPS data from shareable photos. It has multi-window improvements, improved quality of the camera, et cetera.
The Samsung Galaxy A70 users can wait for the update to arrive automatically on their devices. Or they can go to Settings > Software Update > download and Install. The new update is rolling out in India and Ukraine as of now. It will reach other regions across the globe soon.
