The Chinese giant, Xiaomi is rolling out February 2021 security patch update to Redmi K30 5G users in China. Apart from the system security enhancement of your smartphone, the update does not bring any major changes.

Prior to this update, the device received January 2021 security patch that improved the system security. Additionally, it fixed the issue in which users could hear noise when the screen was turned off in some cases.

The latest over-the-air update is based on Android 11 which brings along the firmware version V12.1.6.0.RGICNXM. If being a Chinese owner of the Redmi K30 5G you have not received the update then you can manually check for it by heading to phone Settings > About phone > System update.Â

Redmi K30 5G
