French electronics company Archos recently added two new members to its family of Android smartphones. The two new mid0range smartphones, namely the 50b Oxygen and the 50c Oxygen are 5″ smartphones with 720p LCD displays.
Inside the 50b, you’ll find an octa-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.7GHz along a Mediatek chipset while the 50c is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.3GHZ. Both the Oxygen devices have the same 1 GB RAM and thats not the only thing common to both the devices. The 50b and 50c also share the same 2000 mAh powerhouse, 8 MP shutters on the back and 2 MP cameras on the front. The 8 MP cameras are capable of recording videos upto 1080p.
While we are unsure whether the 50b will be available in 4 GB or 8 GB versions, we know the 50c will have only the 8 GB version with both the devices allowing expansion via a microSD card. Bothe the devices run on Android 4.2.2 Kitkat and offer dual-SIM support. The 50b stands 7.64mm thin while the 50c follows it at 8.6mm.
