Gionee currently has the tag for being the slimmest smartphone manufacturer in the world with the ultra skinny Elife S5.5 which stands just 5.5 mm thick and not only that, its boasts of some amazing specs too. But Elife S5.5 will soon have a new contender and Gionee is again the manufacturer being this one.
This smartphone named Elife S from Gionee will be slimmer than the current slimmest smartphone, which means it’ll be less that 5.5 mm thick and Gionee has come up with a teaser for the device.
The teaser takes you back to the future, showcasing some of the thinnest devices of their times some of which include the Motorola V8, Apple iPhone 4, Motorola XT910 and the Gionee Elife S5.5.
The upcoming device from Gionee will be the slimmest smartphone ever and that sure will be a selling point but it has its share of cons too. Thickness below 5.5 mm will cost the device its battery and internal hardware. Does Gionee have a solution for that? We’ll find out only when the device is revealed. Till then, stay tuned.
